Embossing is a process of application of a pattern by foil with the help of a magnesium or brass plate (cliché) mounted on the press.
Hot stamping allows you to get an image you need with or without using foil (stamping duplex or flat stamping). During this process, the foil is put between a cliché and a patrix.
